Manny brings you news of the British Future project has been looking at attitudes over the last couple of years to the stories of Indian soldiers in WW1. Latest findings show that few people still know about the contribution of 1.2 million Indian soldiers in WW1 and even fewer know that 400,000 Muslims fought for Britain in 1914. However there is a light increase in knowledge of Indian soldiers this year, due to some focus in WW1 stories. The research sparked the poppy hijab campaign.
