The One Show’s Rickshaw Challenge is back to tackle ‘Salford to Walford’.

Now in its fourth year and having raised over £5 million for the charity, the new team is hoping to smash the record with the best year of fundraising yet. Beginning at the 91Èȱ¬â€™s Media City near Manchester, the rickshaw is undertaking a ‘Salford to Walford’ journey across England, finishing live at the iconic EastEnders set during the 91Èȱ¬ Children in Need Appeal on Friday 14 November.

Team Rickshaw is made up of five young people, each supported by projects funded by 91Èȱ¬ Children in Need, who are powering the rickshaw for more than 450 miles across England. This year the rickshaw is pedalled solely by the young riders, although The One Show presenters Matt Baker and Alex Jone are offering their support and advice, both from the studio and live on the road as they cycle alongside the team.
