I jumped off a volcano and hit the ground at 90mph
Wingsuit racer James Boole relives a cliff-jump accident where he broke his back. Despite suffering a major injury, Boole admits he couldn't give up jumping and has relished his return.
Boole said: "It didn't go to plan and I only opened my parachute at 50ft and hit the ground doing the best part of 90mph. I didn't realise I was so close to the ground until it was too late. I did consider not jumping again, but time heals and I fell back in love with this passion of mine. The moment that I jumped off, the moment my feet left the mountain, I realised I was back home again and I've not stopped since."
