Albanian captain Lorik Cana says his team were "kicked", had batteries and stones thrown at them in the Euro 2016 qualifier against Serbia.

The former Sunderland player told 5 live's Eleanor Oldroyd how he was 鈥渉it twice鈥� by stewards on the pitch and that his teammates were attacked as they made their way to the tunnel.

The game was abandoned after fights broke out when a drone carrying an Albanian nationalist flag was lowered over the pitch.

The 31-year-old said when his side saw it was an Albanian flag, teammates tried to 鈥減rotect it and bring it away鈥� only to be attacked by Serbian players and fans.
