Cana: Serbian v Albania drone caused ‘chaos’
Albanian captain Lorik Cana says his team were "kicked", had batteries and stones thrown at them in the Euro 2016 qualifier against Serbia.
The former Sunderland player told 5 live's Eleanor Oldroyd how he was “hit twice” by stewards on the pitch and that his teammates were attacked as they made their way to the tunnel.
The game was abandoned after fights broke out when a drone carrying an Albanian nationalist flag was lowered over the pitch.
The 31-year-old said when his side saw it was an Albanian flag, teammates tried to “protect it and bring it away” only to be attacked by Serbian players and fans.
