The gala performance of the stage revival of East Is East takes place as part of Trafalgar Transformed, a season of politically charged and socially conscious theatre. The play, originally on stage in 1996, was the inspiration behind the box office hit three years later. Haroon Rashid has been to rehearsals of the new production.
