One Solar Farm Approved, One Rejected
Wellingborough Council approves plans to build a solar farm on land near Mears Ashby, but reject an application for a similar sized solar farm in Little Harrowden.
The Borough Council of Wellingborough has approved plans to build a farm of 33,000 solar panels on land near Mears Ashby, but a second application for a similar sized solar farm, on land off Hardwick Road in Little Harrowden was rejected. It would have been an area the size of 44 football pitches.
