Staffordshire-based digger maker JCB has announced 150 job losses - the brunt of which will be born by Staffordshire workers. It blames falling demand in emerging economies abroad for the loss.

Hear how the local Round House boxing club is hoping to reduce racial tensions and instead build and develop community cohesion.

We'll remember the Stoke-on-Trent born saxophonist Raphael Ravenscroft who played the famous riff to Gerry Rafferty's hit Baker Street, who has passed away aged 60.

You can also hear from a former Miss Stoke-on-Trent who pays tribute to the late actress Lynda Bellingham, who died after a lengthy battle with cancer over the weekend.
