Jo Noble (Part 1)
8 out of 10 people in Leicestershire who are at risk of developing one of the most serious eye conditions, Wet Macular Degeneration is the main cause of blindness in this country and the number of people developing it is on the increase. In order to try and warn people about the symptoms, Leicestershire Sight Loss charity Vista and the hospitals in the city are launching a major campaign and holding advice sessions around the city centre. Jo Noble has got Wet Macular Degeneration. She was diagnosed two years ago and is registered as partially sighted. Jo has to have injections in her eyes to stabilise the condition.
