Nicola Sturgeon's mum: 'For her sake my stomach churns a bit'
Joan Sturgeon, mother of the deputy leader of the Scottish National Party Nicola Sturgeon, told 5 live she had watched her daughter work long and hard in what she described as an "arduous and tiring campaign".
Mrs Sturgeon, SNP Councillor for Irvine East, told Rachel Burden: "Of course she will be uptight tonight, this is what Nicola has worked for, for a lot of years. For her sake my stomach churns a bit... as I've watched her work so desperately hard".
