The Buildup to World War Two
In 1939 tension was growing in Europe, over Nazi Germany's expansionist plans. One young British photojournalist headed to Danzig, a free city state on the Polish coast, to film what happened next. His name was Douglas Slocombe and he is now 101 years old.
