In Northern Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire there are just six points in council car parks where you can charge them.

Back in July two council charging points were switched on in Hessle, costing 拢17,000.

East Riding Council says they provide free electricity to help encourage people to switch from petrol and diesel cars.
