Koeppel: Cycling helped Robin Williams cope
Many in the cycling community have joined others from around the world in paying tribute to the comedian and actor Robin Williams, who died earlier this month at the age of 63.
Not many people will know that Williams acted almost as an unofficial ambassador for the sport of cycling and was often pictured at the Tour de France, not to promote his latest films, but to indulge in his passion for cycling.
Journalist Dan Koeppel talked with Robin Williams several times and believes the actor used cycling to combat depression.
