Eric and Clare hear about Shrewsbury's new tourist attraction, Abbey Station in Abbey Foregate

A classic Shropshire breakfast featuring county news, sport, weather and travel.

Eric and Clare hear about Shrewsbury's new tourist attraction, Abbey Station in Abbey Foregate. It was the terminus for the Shrewsbury to Llanamynech railway line in Victorian times. The waiting room is the only part of the station to have survived and that has had new life breathed into it by volunteers. It's now open as a museum. Also later this month the new Womens' and Childrens' Centre at Telford's Princess Royal Hospital will be fully operational. Over the weekend they held open tours around the centre, people turned out in their hundreds to take a peek! James Fanning went along to see what people think.
