Joanna Rowsell 'definitely interested' in alopecia drug cure

Researchers in America say they may have found a cure for one of the most common causes of baldness, alopecia.

They say the drug ruxolitinib has fully restored the hair of three patients during clinical trials.

Olympic and Commonwealth champion cyclist Joanna Rowell has had alopecia since she was 10 years old.

She told Eleanor Oldroyd "It's definitely something interesting to look at, but first and foremost I'm an athlete so once they've had more trials, of course it's something I'd be interested in."
