A year ago the region was awarded £4 million for investment in coastal communities. The new platform at Whitby station is one of the results of the cash – on Monday we’ll be looking at what other impacts the cash has had.
And we’ll be hearing the stories of two mothers from Teesside who campaigned long and hard to make a difference, as part of our Taking Action series which begins on Monday.
