Beach to boxing ring: Kiribati girl's Glasgow journey
A teenage girl, who had never previously been in a boxing ring, has represented her island at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Taoriba Biniati, from the Pacific island of Kiribati, was coached for the event by former Hampshire police officer, Derek Andrewartha.
She learned how to box by fighting men and using a punch bag hung from a breadfruit tree.
Mr Andrewartha said the 18-year-old had taken the "huge experience in her stride" and would keep on boxing after Glasgow.
First broadcast on Drive at the Commonwealth Games on Wednesday 30 July 2014.
