'Bang Goes the Theory' presenters Dallas and Liz undergo endurance tests to determine how fast they run during aerobic and anaerobic respiration. The level of lactic acid in their blood is measured at the end of each test. A graph shows each runners speed against lactate concentration in their blood. The presenters discuss with a sports scientist the effects of lactic acid on the body.
