Scotland Yard is now facing calls for a public inquiry after a black female police officer won her case for race and sex discrimination.
A tribunal found that firearms officer PC Carol Howard was treated differently to her white male colleagues.
The Met's also been criticised following revelations that it has a policy of deleting crucial findings from internal investigations into sex and race discrimination claims by staff.
