Sixty-nine year old Charles Pickering from East Yorkshire has been found alive and well after going missing in the North Sea.

Charles who is from Wetwang near Driffield set out from the Kiel Canal in Germany last week and was due back in Bridlington on Monday. His wife raised the alarm after he failed to arrive.

He was eventually found eighty miles off Spurn Point after he set off a distress beacon on his yacht the Equinox. He's been telling Chris Arundel how he got into difficulty...
