Amir Khan admits training in Ramadan is too 'difficult’
Amir Khan has cut down on fights and has stopped training due to the Islamic month of Ramadan.
The former World Champion boxer admitted it was too difficult to fast and train during the Muslim holy month, so has removed fights with world-class opponents from his schedule.
However, he told 5 live's Nick Garnett that fasting was a “good detox” and allowed him to sympathise with people who were starving.
First broadcast on the Victoria Derbyshire programme on 9 July 2014.
