Billen: Celebrity got too big for its boots and television
TV critic Andrew Billen asks why the public did not see through Rolf Harris, after the former children's TV star was convicted of sex charges this week.
He reckoned that even a "nation as wised-up to sex as ours" was shocked by the verdicts, and that while Harris' reputation was smashed. "television鈥檚 isn鈥檛 looking that much healthier".
