Hamilton: The political elite don't know how to stop us
Talking of UKIP, Christine Hamilton claims the "political elite don't know how to stop us".
The self-styled battle-axe, who is the wife of a Tory MP-turned-UKIP deputy chairman, reckoned their political opponents have "ignored us, laughed at us and insulted us" but the reaction saw its poll ratings and membership rise.
She admitted a new party was "bound to have a few nutters and fruitcakes", but it showed that women can wear the trousers, and that UKUP was full of strong, determined women.
