Carlo Ancelloti, would be an 鈥渁ntidote to a tense atmosphere鈥� at Manchester United, Italian football journalist Mina Rzouki has said.

The Italian manager, currently in charge of Real Madrid is one of the favourites to succeed David Moyes.

Mina Rzouki praised Ancelotti鈥檚 ability to deal with egos, gain respect and 鈥渃reate a wonderful family atmosphere鈥�.

Ancelotti is contracted until 2016 at Real Madrid and Mina Rxzouki said she doesn鈥檛 think the club would let the former player leave:

鈥淭here is some negatively there but it is highly unlikely that he鈥檚 going to quit, he is there until 2016, I don鈥檛 think he will be let go; especially how long it鈥檚 taken to get him on board; but the thing is who is going to say no to Manchester United, if he鈥檚 approached I鈥檓 sure he鈥榣l consider it, but I think he is already at a big club offering him everything he鈥檚 ever wanted in the first place.鈥�

Ms Rzouki also highlighted Ancelotti鈥檚 preferences for focusing on coaching over managing, as a possible issue with the appointment:

鈥淭he problem with Manchester United and Ancelotti being the perfect match鈥�that he鈥檚 not really that interested in managing an entire club from the bottom levels, including scouting, picking out players ,that鈥檚 not really his type of thing, he likes having a sporting director, he likes having a CEO who has an opinion and helps him with his job.鈥�
