Could eco-tourism help the West African chimp?
The Ivory Coast has the largest remaining population of the West African chimpanzee. But the one thing the Ivory Coast is short of, is tourists.
The government and the Wild Chimpanzee Foundation are trying to change that through eco-tourism – saving the chimps and, at the same time, bring in much-needed revenue.
Tamasin Ford reports from the Tai National Park.
