Episode 2
Gardening challenge series with Fern Britton. The remaining eight pairs are tested on their runner beans and roses as well as their ability to make both wreaths and relishes.
The second round of The Big Allotment Challenge hosted by Fern Britton continues the search to find Britain's best growers. Eight pairs remain to face four testing challenges, where they are judged not only on what they have grown but on what they can make with it too.
This time, their runner beans and roses are scrutinised on the show bench by former royal gardener Jim Buttress, floral expert Jonathan Moseley sets them the tricky challenge to make a summer wreath, and queen of preserves Thane Prince is on the hunt for a perfect relish.
Which pair will come up roses and scoop Best in Show, and which team will leave the allotment for good?
