Call to end ‘gender-specific’ children’s books
A campaign has begun in Britain calling for an end to books which are specifically marketed as just for boys or girls. “Let Books be Books” is backed by a number of leading authors, and now the Independent on Sunday newspaper says it will stop reviewing books targeted at one gender.
