Oxford's International Women's festival and the WI in WW2

Malcolm talks to Linda from Abingdon who learnt to read aged 40 and finds out about the Oxfordshire Jambusters and how the Women's Institute went to war in 1939.

To coincide with Oxford's International Women's festival, Malcolm is celebrating Great Oxfordshire Ladies all week. On Monday we'll hear Linda from Abingdon's inspiring story about learning to read at 40. Malc also finds out about how the Women's Institute went to war in 1939 with the story of the Oxfordshire ‘Jambusters’.
