After years of debate and argument, work actually starts today on redevelopment of Sixfields Stadium in Northampton, home, of course, to the Cobblers.
After years of debate and argument, work starts on the redevelopment of Sixfields Stadium in Northampton, home, of course, to the Cobblers.
There’ll be a new hotel, conference centre, shops and housing, as well as an increased capacity in the stadium itself.
Reporter Willy Gilder sets the scene, and Stuart talks to Gareth Wilsher from Northampton Town Football Club, to developer Simon Patnick from The County Group, and to Councillor David Mackintosh, the Leader of Northampton Borough Council.
