Christmas Shopping Numbers Fall In Northampton
There was a sharp drop in the number of shoppers in Northampton at Christmas time. The news comes at a time when the town council is trying to attract more people into the centre.
Fewer people did their Christmas shopping in Northampton last year than the year before. New footfall figures show a sharp drop in the numbers.
The news comes at a time when the town's council is trying to attract more people into the centre, with special parking offers and bringing traffic back into Abington Street.
