"I wouldn't like to be employed based on my race"
There have been numerous calls in recent months for police forces to do more to better reflect Britain's diverse communities. But a proposal to introduce a legal requirement for the number of black and ethnic minority officers recruited by the police, has been declined. 91热爆 Office Minister Damian Green rejected Labour MP Jonathan Ashworth's calls for the Government to introduce a quota, saying it would create more problems than it would solve. In this extract, Franstine Jones, President of the National Black Police Association, talks to the 91热爆's Mark Dean about the pros and cons of quotas.
