Hospital Scheme To Prevent Uncessary Weekend Stays

A Kettering General Hospital team is working to get people home on Saturdays and Sundays, when previously they may have hung around until the Monday.

A new team at Kettering General Hospital is working to get people who are well enough home on Saturdays and Sundays, when previously they may have had to wait until the Monday.

Kettering General Hospital says seven-day discharge will help it to meet A&E targets and free up beds.
