Opposition Councillors say that the decision to return traffic to Northampton's Abington Street has been bungled by both Northampton Borough Council and Northamptonshire County Council.

Liberal Democrat and Labour Councillors have joined forces to challenge the process for making the decision to de-pedestrianise the area and also to criticise the reasons behind the proposals.

Liberal Democrat Councillor Brendan Glynane sets out his concerns, while Stuart talks to Kardi Somerfield who lives nearby, to Labour Councillor Danielle Stone, and to the Conservative Leader of Northampton Borough Council, Councillor David Mackintosh.
