Sam Allardyce: Playing young players “right thing to do”
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce's young side were beaten five nil by Nottingham Forest, in the third round of the FA Cup; with Jamie Paterson helping himself to a hat-trick. He told Rob Nothman that he chose the players in order “to protect” his fit players.
