Over the last couple of years there’ve been numerous closures of pubs in the region – just a few months ago a group which runs several on Teesside went into receivership. Hospitality and food accounts for more than 60,000 jobs in the North East..we’ll be trying to find out if 2014’s likely to be a better year for the industry.
