Gay aversion therapy in 1960s: "Lying in my excrement"
DJ and stand-up comic Peter Price volunteered to undergo aversion therapy on the NHS when he was 18, in the 1960s, after his mother found out he was gay. A new bill that would ban therapists in England and Wales from trying to turn gay people straight is being published on 12th December.
