Are people around the world getting angrier?
There are ongoing protests against democratically-elected leaders in Ukraine and Thailand.
Four people have died in Thailand's worst political turmoil since the 2010 rallies that ended in violence. Protestors there have been calling for the resignation of Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra. They want to replace the government with a "People's Council", alleging the government is controlled by Ms Yingluck's brother, ousted leader Thaksin Shinawatra.
In Ukraine, protestors are calling for the resignation of the government. The unrest was triggered last month by President Viktor Yanukovych's refusal to sign a deal on closer EU ties.
The unrest in Ukraine and Thailand comes after other large-scale protests in countries over the last few years - Egypt, Tunisia and the United States鈥� Occupy Wall Street are just a few examples.
Are we more impatient for change now? Does social media have a role to play in facilitating or escalating protests?
