Two years ago shocking figures revealed that Oxford's five to seven year olds had some of the worst levels of literacy in the country. Since then, a task force of local organisations has been working together to improve the reading and writing skills of our primary school children and now, it鈥檚 our turn; all this week we're celebrating the joy of reading! Today, Blue Peter's newest presenter Lindsey Russell reads from The Demon Headmaster and poet Pam Ayres tells Malc how to write for children.
