In the sixties, false eyelashes were popping up everywhere. Eylure in Cwmbran was the world's first ever factory to mass produce fix-on eyelashes. It was founded by the Aylott brothers – David and Eric, who were originally two professional film make-up men who opened a factory in Cwmbran in the sixties.
