The biggest Diwali celebrations outside of India are well underway along the Belgrave Road in Leicester, ahead of the festival on the 3rd of Noveember.

Thousands of people gathered to see the Golden Mile light up with 6,500 light bulbs being switched on, to mark the start of festivities.
