Why: "I was in the car with my parents, aged 14, and 鈥淪weet Dreams鈥� came on the radio. It was exciting. It was edgy. And since then Annie Lennox has created amazing and evocative music. Commentators talk about re-invention; Annie Lennox has not had to re-invent, she has just evolved and written and sung tremendous songs. She is one of the most consistent singer/songwriters of recent times."
