Smokey Robinson is inducted into Michael Ball's Singers Hall of Fame
Nominator: Eric Bell
From: Barnsley
Eric has his nomination of Smokey Robinson inducted into the Singers Hall of Fame on Sunday Night with Michael Ball.
Why: "As a teenager in the early 60s, I became a big fan of soul music. In 1965, several of the Tamla-Motown stable, including The Miracles, appeared on Ready Steady Go. Most of my friends and I were hooked, with many of their songs being "floor fillers" at the various clubs we visited in the 60s. His body of work is incredible."
It certainly is Eric! Thanks so much for nominating Smokey!
