People who get drunk and need to be looked after by police and health officials should be made to pay for it, according to the county's Chief Constable.
The call comes after figures show 50% of all violent crime is alcohol related.
The Chief Constable, Adrian Lee, who is also the national alcohol lead for ACPO, the Association of Chief Police Officers, speaks to reporter Willy Gilder. Stuart talks to Neil Bartholomey, Chair of Northampton Pubwatch who’s also landlord of the Abington pub, to Henry Ashworth, Chief Executive of the Portman Group which represents the drinks industry, and to Scott, a doorman from Northampton.
