MP's Say Fracking Should Go Ahead In Northamptonshire
Northampton MP Brian Binley says the alleged dangers of fracking are a nonsense & it should be welcomed. Other local MP's and an MEP agree. A local Green politician disagrees.
A Northamptonshire MP says the controversial technique of fracking is safe and would be welcome in Northamptonshire.
Brian Binley, the Conservative MP for Northampton South, says the alleged dangers of fracking are a nonsense and the technique is essential to solving Britain's energy crisis. Other Northamptonshire MP's agree and so does MEP Roger Helmer.
Geologist, Proffesor Nick Petford, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Northampton, explains what fracking is, and Brian Binley gives his view.
