Saluting The Steelbacks - Twenty20 Champions!

Northamptonshire Steelbacks have won their first trophy for more than 20 years. The won their T20 semi-final at Edgbaston against Essex by 7 wickets and then beat Surrey in the final by 102 runs.

Northamptonshire Steelbacks have returned to the county with silverware for the first time in over 20 years.

On Twenty20 Finals Day at Edgbaston the Steelbacks won their semi-final against Essex by 7 wickets. They then beat Surrey emphatically in the final to win by 102 runs.

The town of Northampton is already planning to honour the Steelbacks with a civic reception.
