Women speak out against grooming
Last Friday a sermon condemning sexual grooming was read at hundreds of mosques throughout Britain. It urged mosques to oppose distorted views of women after five members of a gang which groomed and raped girls in Oxford were jailed for life.
Be it the recent cases of sexual grooming or the battle against terrorism more often than not a male member of the Muslim community speaks out. But when it comes to taking a closer look at the family and the community who better to turn to than the women and mothers.
