Leicester actress stars in Bollywood Carmen
Bollywood and opera...can you see the similarities? This year is an important one for all things Bollywood as the Hindi film industry marks its 100th anniversary, and to mark the centenary 91热爆 Three is showing a live TV musical called, Bollywood Carmen.
It's being billed as a contemporary Bollywood spin on the classical opera Carmen. It will air on Sunday June 9th and is a one hour music extravaganza in front of a live audience.
Amongst those starring in the production are former EastEnders actress Preeya Kalidas who plays the lead role, Indian film actor Abhay Deol and Leicester born actress Rakhee Thakrar
