Sir Alan Massey was the commander of the Royal Navy's former flagship, HMS Ark Royal in 2003 during the Iraq invasion. He shares his memories about his time on the ship, which has been decommissioned and begun her final journey from Portsmouth to a scrapyard in Turkey on 20 May.
