A couple of weeks ago, more than 40 of the most beautiful girls around the world battled it out to be crowned Miss India Worldwide, but it was a beauty therapist from Leicester who not only dazzled the judges but also made history in winning the coveted title.

24 year old Nehal Bhogaita, who is profoundly deaf, became the first deaf person to be crowned both Miss India Leicester and Miss India UK within days of each other, and now she is Miss India Worldwide.
