Food banks demand doubles - West Midlands
Food banks have been a God send for thousands as austerity bites - and now figures show the number of people using them doubled last year.
They include many from black communities in big cities, often catered for by local churches.
Patricia Hoskins runs Birmingham Central Food bank on behalf of the Trussell Trust, the UK's largest food bank provider.
And Adam Brookes runs a food bank at the New Jerusalem Church in Aston.
On the Chatback show with Joe Aldred and Nikki Tapper, Adam explains how his foodbank evolved after the need for help in the community grew.
