Banned pill can "basically cook yourself” to death
Gina and Geoff Houston speak to Victoria Derbyshire about their 23-year-old trainee doctor daughter Sarah, who a coroner has ruled died as a result of taking a pesticide pill called DNP, which she was using as a slimming pill. It is banned for human consumption in the UK but is available in capsule form online because it is a legitimately-used pesticide, which her parents say is also marketed as a weight-loss aid.
